Ningbo municipal spatial governance digital platform development - Spatio-temporal Big Data Application was listed as an excellent application in Zhejiang “Observatory”.

Recently, Ningbo municipal governance digital platform construction - spatio-temporal big data application was successfully selected as the fifth batch of excellent applications of the Zhejiang Observatory, becoming the third selected excellent applications of the Observatory in Ningbo.

The observatory is a showcase displaying excellent applications and an important platform for the People's Government of Zhejiang Province to promote digital transformation and show its emblematic results. The excellent applications selected by the “observatory” would be displayed on the platform to the whole province and other places to learn.

The project named spatial governance digital platform construction-spatio-temporal big data application exploration had established a “whole spatio-temporal" database of basic geography, economy, society, spatial planning and dynamic perception, which was characterized by the integration of above and below ground, a full average of land and sea and indoor and outdoor integration. It also built an intelligent integration channel, created the city’s "intelligent integration" map, developed geographic information technology analysis tool and economic and social comprehensive analysis tool, and developed an intelligent platform to provide services for the public.

The construction of this project broke the information barriers between different industries and departments, established a new data information pattern of joint construction and sharing to realize information exchange and sharing in multiple sectors. The project also provided 196 application systems of more than 160 departments with unified spatio-temporal information services covering economy, society, government management, livelihood services and other key area of smart city construction. In the next step, it would continue to improve the platform service level and scenario application level, and provided more high-quality geographic information resource services for the city's application departments at all levels.
